  • The Carolina Inn is a hotel listed on the National Register of Historic Places on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Orange County, North Carolina which opened in 1924. It was built in 1922 by alumnus John Sprunt Hill and donated to the University in 1935.

The Carolina Inn is a historic hotel, so this shot of the room pretty much captures the small size. The framed photos around the bed were a nice touch.

Recently, I stayed at the Historic Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill. This was the door to my room, painted nice Carolina Blue.
